Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la infección de vías urinarias
como factor de riesgo en una amenaza de parto pretérmino en adolescentes. Método:
Estudio de casos en el Hospital Materno Infantil “Dra. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel. Se
contuvieron 50 adolescentes entre 14 a 19 años con amenaza de parto pretérmino
acompañado con infección de vías urinarias. Los datos se recogieron de las historias
clínicas de cada paciente. Se trabajaron variables socioeconómicas; antecedentes
gineco-obstétricos. La infección de vías urinarias fue diagnosticada mediante examen
general de orina. Resultados: el mayor porcentaje de adolescentes con amenaza de
parto pretérmino mas infección fue en enero con un 26%. Entre los grupo edades con
mayor frecuencia fue entre 18 a 19 años con un 62%; el 70% tenía unión libre; 52% era
un embarazo mal controlado y la edad gestacional más frecuente en pacientes con
amenaza de parto pretérmino fue de 34 a 36 semanas, de los cuales un 74% llegaron a
un parto a término. Conclusión: Las infecciones de vías urinarias incrementan un gran
porcentaje el riesgo de presentar una amenaza de parto pretérmino en adolescentes
The present study aimed to: determine the urinary tract infection as a risk factor in preterm labor in adolescents. Method: Case Studies in Maternity and Pediatric Hospital " Dr. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel. 50 adolescents aged 14 to 19 years were contained with preterm labor accompanied with urinary tract infection. The data were collected from the medical records of each patient. Socioeconomic variables were worked; gynecological and obstetric history. The urinary tract infection was diagnosed by urinalysis. Results: The highest percentage of adolescents with preterm labor more infection in January was 26%. Among the most common age group was between 18 to 19 years with 62 % ; 70 % were cohabiting ; 52 % were poorly controlled pregnancy and gestational age more frequent in patients with preterm labor was 34 to 36 weeks , of which 74 % came to term delivery. Conclusion: Urinary tract infections increase the risk a large percentage of presenting a threat of preterm delivery in adolescents
