Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación se encuentra orientado a determinar
un método y técnica más conveniente para evitar la extirpación pulpar y
estudiar las propiedades del hidróxido de calcio químicamente puro. Se
realizan los más importantes estudios en el intento de salvar la pulpa
dental con el fin de hallar el material ideal para el tratamiento de las
lesiones apicales y periapicales. El uso de (Ca[OH2]) en endodoncia fue
introducido por Hermann en 1920. El hidróxido de calcio es un polvo fino,
blanco; es la medicación intraconducto mas utilizada en el mundo durante
los últimos 40 años, es ampliamente usado en Endodoncia por sus
propiedades para controlar la inflamación e inducir la reparación con
tejidos duros, así como por su actividad antimicrobiana, se le agrega el
mayor numero de propiedades deseables; se puede discutir el mecanismo
de acción del hidróxido de calcio sobre las bacterias y sobre los tejidos.
Ha sido propuesto para un gran número de procedimientos, tales como:
medicación intraconducto, solución irrigadora, tratamiento de
reabsorciones, como cemento sellador, reparación de perforaciones,
recubrimientos pulpares. Este fármaco es una sustancia dotada de
elevado pH, lo cual hace aconsejable su empleo como medicación tópica
entre sesiones y como componente de materiales de obturación
temporarios y definitivos. El hidróxido de calcio actúa por disociación
iónica, a los productos de esta reacción química se le atribuye su efecto
biológico, el cual difiere en tejidos vitales de tejidos necróticos. Se dice
que en los tejidos vitales induce la formación de tejidos duros debido a la
liberación de iones de calcio y que en los tejidos necróticos tiene un
efecto desinfectante por su gran capacidad antibacteriana relacionada con
la liberación de iones hidroxilos. La metodología usada en este trabajo es
bibliográfico el cual se basa en libros de endodoncia, revistas
odontológicas, consultas y folletos de interés científico. Con este trabajo
se lograra introducir un método con la finalidad de evitar la extirpación
pulpar y mantenerlas en un estado funcional.

It has been proposed for a number of procedures such as : intracanal medication, irrigating solution , treatment resorption , as sealer , repair of perforations , pulp capping . This drug is a substance with high pH , which makes it advisable to use as topical medication between sessions and as filling material component temporary and final. Calcium hydroxide acts dissociation ionic products of this chemical reaction is attributed its effect biological , which differs in vital tissues of necrotic tissue . says vital tissues that induces hard tissue formation due to calcium ion release and which has a necrotic tissue disinfectant for its high antibacterial capacity related release of hydroxyl ions . The methodology used in this work is literature which is based on endodontics books , magazines Dental , consultation and brochures of scientific interest. With this work introduce a method is achieved in order to avoid removal pulp and maintained in a functional state .
