The lack of information on knee sprain prevention measures increases the risk of acquiring this injury. The knee supports high forces and moments and is placed between the arms of longer levers of the body making it susceptible to injuries and deformities. A knee sprain is a stretching or twisting of the ligaments that support the knee. The ligaments are strong bands of connective tissue that connect the bones to each other. Knee sprains are graded according to their severity. Also, the more ligaments involved, the more severe the injury. Grade 1 Stretch and micro-tear of the ligament tissue Grade 2 Partial tear of the ligament tissue Slight instability of the joint when examined Grade 3 Severe or complete tear of the ligament tissue Significant joint instability Probable surgical intervention. In physiotherapeutic preventive treatment it is always recommended to warm up and stretch before exercising. and stretch after exercising. Rest after having done a workout or a game. Strengthen the muscles of the leg. Exercises that improve proprioception (generally those that involve balance) have been shown to reduce the risk of knee sprains in soccer players. Learn the proper technique. Balanced diet. Never forget to protect the knee joint. The methodology was carried out with a project feasible or of intervention with the technique of the survey whose instrument is the Likert questionnaire, and the supervision of expert judgments.
