Estudio para el trazado turístico patrimonial y diseño de equipamientos complementarios en el barrio de la paroquia Ancón provincia del Guayas

Resumen
La parroquia de Ancón forma parte de un legado arquitectónico y cultural de los ingleses en el país. Se la conoce como la parroquia pionera del país y de toda Latinoamérica en la explotación del petróleo. Pero al disminuirse la actividad petrolera, y al quedar en manos de las autoridades municipales, es en donde se empieza a evidenciar la desorganización, la carencia de equipamientos, y el subdesarrollo sociocultural, económico y turístico. Por tanto, los objetivos de la investigación son: Identificar los monumentos patrimoniales de San José de Ancón; determinar el movimiento turístico actual; establecer las habilidades y actividades económicas de los moradores, con el fin de potenciarlas y generar nuevas fuentes de empleo y medir la participación de la población en el proyecto turístico. La metodología se sustenta en la recolección de datos a partir del uso de las técnicas en función de los objetivos para lo cual se aplican las técnicas de observación, recopilación documental, encuestas a la comunidad y entrevistas a propietarios de los monumentos patrimoniales del Barrio Inglés. La propuesta y alcance de trabajo es diseñar la ruta turística en el Barrio Inglés por ser un legado cultural y en la cual se implementarán nuevos equipamientos, como: espacios públicos recreativos, prototipo de quiosco comercial, restaurante, hostería, miradores, centro de interpretación cultural, además de la restauración de viviendas patrimoniales para su cambio de uso e implementación de pequeños emprendimientos como: alquiler de bicicletas, cafetería, venta de recuerdos, tejidos, pinturas, artesanías, bisutería artesanal con materiales propios del lugar.
The parish of Ancón is part of an architectural and cultural legacy of the Englishman in the country. It is known as the pioneer parish of the country and of all Latin America in the exploitation of oil. But when the oil activity diminishes, and when it is in the hands of the municipal authorities, it is where the disorganization, the lack of equipment, and the sub-development of socio-cultural, economic and touristic begin to be evident. Therefore, the objectives of the research are: Identify the heritage monuments of San José de Ancón; determine the current tourism movement; establish the skills and economic activities of the inhabitants; in order to empower them and generate new sources of employment and measure the participation of the population in the tourism project. The methodology is based on the collection of data from applying the techniques in function of the objectives for which the techniques of observation, documentary compilation, surveys to the community and interviews to owners of the heritage monuments of the English neighborhood are applied. The proposal and scope of work is to design the tourist route in the English neighborhood for being a cultural legacy and in which new equipment will be implemented, such as: recreational public spaces, prototype of a commercial kiosk, restaurant, inn, lookouts, cultural interpretation center , in addition to the restoration of heritage homes for their change of use and implementation of small ventures such as: bicycle rental, cafeteria, sale of; souvenirs, textiles, paintings, handicrafts, handmade jewelry with local materials.
