Voladora), Chamaesyce hirta L. (Golondrina) y Erigeron bonariensis (Rama
Negra).
The objective of the study was to evaluate the herbicides in the weed control of the bean crop (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), in Ventanas, Los Ríos. The experimental design was used in randomized complete blocks, with the arrangement of divided plots with four treatments and four repetitions. The herbicides used were: Cletodim, Imazetapir and Fomesafen. The variables evaluated were: weed control measured with climbing; degree of toxicity of herbicides on bean plants; Percentages of total coverage and by species of weeds. The results of the weed species present in the study were: Eleusine indica (Paja de Burro), Panicum bergii (Flying Straw), Chamaesyce hirta L. (Swallow) and Erigeron bonariensis (Black Branch). The treatment that better control, less coverage and density of weeds, was T2 with 78.38% of the controlled metric and the same T3 with 79.46% of the metric controlled. Regarding the toxicity of chemical herbicides on bean plants, the effects were slight. And the herbicides Imazetapir and Fomesafen that present the best results in the present investigation.
