Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal el estudio de la actividad emprendedora en el desarrollo económico y social de la ciudad de Guayaquil durante el período 2011 – 2016. Con el desarrollo de la investigación se busca corroborar sí, en las actuales condiciones en las que se está desarrollando, el emprendimiento puede ser tomado como un modelo de referencia para crecimiento y desarrollo económico y social de la urbe porteña. Dada la naturaleza del trabajo se considera que el mismo está orientado en primera instancia a una metodología cualitativa y posteriormente a un modelo cuantitativo. En la parte cuantitativa se obtendrá información de diversas fuentes como el Banco Central del Ecuador, Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos, Ministerio de Finanzas y el Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Así mismo, en la parte cualitativa se recopilará información por medio de fuentes primarias como libros, artículos, trabajos de investigación e informes técnicos.
The main objective of this investigation is to study the enterprising activity in the economic and social development of the Guayaquil´s city during the period 2011-2016. With the development of the research, it is sought to corroborate yes, in the current conditions in that is being developed, the entrepreneurship can be taken as a model of reference for growth and economic and social development of the city. Given the nature of the work, it is considered that it is oriented in the first instance to a qualitative methodology and subsequently to a quantitative model.
