Evolución económica de la industria farmacéutica de la ciudad de Guayaquil, período 2013-2017

Resumen
El estudio denominado “Evolución Económica de la Industria Farmacéutica de la Ciudad de Guayaquil, período 2013 – 2017” abarca la forma en que esta industria dentro de la ciudad mencionada ha cambiado de acuerdo a las variaciones que se han dado en el país han sido cruciales para el Ecuador, esto desde el punto de vista de políticas estatales enfocadas en el crecimiento de la industria local. Se analizaron dentro del marco teórico aquellos términos del campo de la salud, así como de los agentes que forman parte de la industria farmacéutica y del canal de distribución de esta; además, se mostraron cada una de las normativas legales y reglamentos relacionados con el control y funcionamiento de los establecimientos que comercializan productos farmacéuticos. La metodología empleada fue de tipo descriptivo, buscando conocer aspectos claves como son el origen de los medicamentos que se comercializan en la actualidad, efectuándose una encuesta para los clientes de establecimientos que comercializan productos farmacéuticos y una entrevista enfocada a gerentes de laboratorios farmacéuticos, los cuales ofrecieron opiniones que dejando ver la forma en que los medicamentos y demás productos farmacéuticos son importados, y como se han adaptado de acuerdo a los cambios en las políticas por parte del Estado, manteniéndose estables a pesar de esto en el periodo mencionado, esto una vez de que se dieron los cambios establecidos. Finalmente, por medio de un análisis de validación de resultados se pudo determinar que existe un déficit en la balanza comercial y los productos farmacéuticos que llegan al Ecuador tienen mayormente procedencia colombiana
The study entitled "Economic Evolution of the Pharmaceutical Industry of the City of Guayaquil, period 2013 - 2017", covers the way in which this industry within the city mentioned has changed according to the variations that have occurred in the country for years and that has been crucial for Ecuador from the point of view of the state policies focused on the growth of the local industry. The terms of the health field were analyzed within the theoretical framework, as well as the agents that are part of the pharmaceutical industry and its distribution channel; In addition, each of the legal norms and regulations related to the control and operation of the establishments that commercialize pharmaceutical products were shown. The methodology used was of a descriptive type, seeking to know key aspects such as the origin of drugs that are currently commercialized; This was conducted through a survey for customers of certain establishments that sell pharmaceutical products, as well as an interview focused on managers of pharmaceutical laboratories, in which they offered opinions that showed the way that medicines and other pharmaceutical products are imported, and how they have adapted according to the changes on the policies on the part of the Government, remaining stable in spite of this in the mentioned period, this once the established changes occurred. Finally, through an analysis of validation of results it was possible to determine that there is a deficit in the trade balance and the pharmaceutical products that arrive in Ecuador are mostly from Colombia
