Resumen
Fehierro Cía. Ltda. empresa ecuatoriana dedicada a la comercialización de productos importados, con experiencia en el mundo ferretero, actualmente, realiza un promedio de 15 importaciones mensuales, sin embargo, a pesar de tener una buena estructura económica y financiera, se ha visto afectada por las variaciones en los costos de sus productos importados, el cual no se detecta hasta el momento de revisar los estados financieros y ver la variación en la utilidad mensual, en este estudio se analizará uno de los casos más relevantes con el que se expondrá los factores que conllevan a este problema. Para la investigación de este trabajo se realizó una investigación de campo, realizando entrevista y encuesta con los funcionarios y empleados que forman parte del proceso de importación, obteniendo información real, esperando que, con el diseño de un sistema de gestión del proceso de importación, se logre una mejor organización de los rubros que intervienen en sus importaciones, generando una mejor rentabilidad para la empresa.
