The objective of this thesis is to analyze the problems Workshop on Electricity Augusto Mendoza College Moreira, for improve service repair school furniture, and tecle auto maintenance, neon signs and General Campus facilities, in order to implement a unit productive. To diagnose the current situation of the institution, has considered each of the factors of production, such as materials premium, human resources, work environment and processes, using flowcharts, stroke, and distribution of plant flowcharts. The main problems identified in the study are capacity constraints to supply Workshop foreign demand addition to an inefficiency of 27.27% and an index of found reprocessing of 13.13%, which have resulted in losses year in the amount of $ 12,139.04, for which it was necessary to Using the SWOT Matrix, Ishikawa diagrams and Pareto. The chosen solutions to address the problems has been the implementation of a production unit, based on the doctrine of Lean Production and Kaizen methodology, applying instructional maintenance, and for applying the method of point reorder, increasing the capacity from 560 units Workshop current 1,500 units proposed, reducing inefficiency in 13% and 10% rework. The cost amounts to solutions $ 33,436.00, $ 25,120.00 of which represent fixed investment and $ 8,316.00 operating costs. The solutions proposed in this project are recovered over a period of three years, generating a rate Internal Return (IRR) of 35.10% and Net Present Value (NPV) $ 42,749.45, with a cost benefit ratio of 1.70, which shows technical - economic feasibility of the chosen alternative.
