The objective of this thesis is: Analyze the situation Distribution Department Antarctic ICE Unilever Plant Andina SA regarding the Occupational Safety and Health, to reduce risk of occurrence of occupational accidents and diseases professional workers, protecting physical assets in productive activities. To diagnose the current situation has He discussed the various factors present risks which are used for flowcharts, flow charts, diagnostic tools such as Panorama Risk FINE low method, Pareto charts and Ishikawa, detecting the main problems affecting the company in the area of Occupational Safety and Health, concerning injuries falls, fractures of human resources, to which is added potential freezing cold injuries and lack of prevention with an event unplanned consisting of ammonia leaks either through lack of protection, little awareness or deficit in the use of methodologies for risk control, which has resulted in an index 23 days lost to accidents during the first half of 2009, annual losses by $ 15,026.00. The proposal to address problems implementing the program notes Health and Safety Occupational, containing safe methods, measuring safety from electrical hazards, protective measures in environments cold, with ammonia, use of appropriate personal protective equipment to work at heights at temperatures below 10 º C, strengthening with a training plan and training in this area. The cost of solutions is $ 17,169.38 per year, with an initial investment of $ 6,278.00, that will be recovered in 24 months, generating an internal rate of Return of 56.95%, a Net Present Value (NPV) of $ 15,359.62, which demonstrates the technical feasibility - the raised economic solution.
