adulto mayor.
The society frames the older adult as an individual who is at the end of the evolutionary development stage. But what we have achieved with this action is to reduce the state of health in our population and, in turn, to reduce the capacity of millions of people. In this work we show the importance of consulting a doctor before starting to exercise. The usefulness of the research, is to promote, quality in the service and to offer warmth to the users, optimizing the management that the Institution currently offers in the area of external consultation of this specialty. The proposal is feasible since it has the approval of the authorities: board of directors, technical and administrative management of the day hospital, and rehabilitation staff, with reciprocity of staff with the patient that will allow us to implement the project. This research will be carried out from March 2016 to September 2016. The methodology of the present research corresponds to the quantitative paradigm. In addition, it follows a sequential, deductive, probative process to study the objective reality of the present case. We conclude that this model of physiotherapy care will help the HDD staff to identify how willing the older adult is to exercise, what are their limitations and what will be the most appropriate maintenance to promote physiotherapy. The recommendations indicate the need to develop a model of physical therapy care, for the improvement of strategies and procedures of care for the elderly.
