Duragas SA is represented in the market by packaging Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for domestic use 15 kilos, gas cylinders for commercial use and 45 kilos gas pipeline systems to towns and shopping centers, is leading level national with 38% share, the Maintenance Workshop Cylinders are repair handles containers cylinders 15 and 45 kilos. The study in the Cylinder repair processes allow us to propose an alternative solution modifying the design of the hydrostatic test machine and the purchase of six machines and equipment for the cutting base and handles. The present work will focus on removing constraints in each process and improve planning activities in the area of cylinder repair, similarly help increase productivity and supply to the operating cylinders different LPG bottling plants Duragas nationwide. The total cost to the two solutions is $ U.S. $ 82,807.36, which is the amount funded and that capital will be repaid to six months with fixed payments of $ 18,404.39 U.S. dollars, with a total payout of $ U.S. $ 110,426.36, the value Cost Benefit coefficient shows us that for every dollar the company reversed, will make a profit of $ 2.89 U.S. dollars, ie by subtracting the dollar invested will get profit of $ 1.89 dollars, an IRR of 710.7%, ie should we run the project, given that the percentage yield this generates far exceeds the cost of capital to invest and finally the proposal solution is cost effective because the payback is given approximately in the first five days of production.
