Ceromers are new materials that are used to make inlays, crowns and bridges. They are characterized by their high aesthetics and differ from porcelain materials because of the high biocompatibility they present with the dental structure. Ceromers are metal-free; they have greater resistance to fractures; they possess less abrasiveness. The inlays being indirect restorations manufactured and worked on laboratory models allow to obtain better physical and mechanical properties of the material, as well as the creation of a better proximal contour, suitable contact points and return morphological characteristics. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the ceromers used in indirect restorations in posterior teeth to perform an analysis of the dental pieces to restore as well as work with the correct materials. The research method corresponds to the analytical method because it is based on the clinical analysis of results obtained from the treatment performed in a clinical case. The results meet the proposed objectives and patient satisfaction because the morphological characteristics were returned to the tooth , the aesthetic was recovered by mimicking the ceromers giving a natural color to the dental organ, the functionality of the tooth thanks to the ceromers by allowing the distribution of masticatory forces. In short, the participant action between the patient and the operator allows us a clinical diagnosis to be able to adequately perform the dental preparation, choice of the material and follow the protocol for indirect restorations.
