The present experimental qualitative and quantitative in vitro study was conducted with at least forty-five dental parts, which were cervically restored, these pieces were divided into three groups of fifteen pieces for each brand of Z350 resin, Brilliant Brilliant Everglow and Opallis respectively, in order to establish the vulnerability to pigmentation of restorations with composites exposed to three pigmentant substances: red wine, artificial juices and green tea. With the help of the Photoshop program we were able to obtain the results that CIE L*a*b*, both before and after submerging the restorations for eight days considering that the substances were changed every 24 hours. The CIE2000 calculation was performed using the Delta E formula to determinate whether changes in sample color occurred after being submerged in the three pigmenting substances. The analysis of variance and statistical analysis (ANOVA) was carried out managing to determine that if there are highly significant statistical differences in the pigmentation of cervical restorations in the three different composite resins Z350, Brilliant Everglow and Opallis; in the Tukey comparison test, it was managed to demonstrate the resin Opallis is the less vulnerable to pigmentation with an average of 4,24 compared to the other two Z350 and Brilliant Everglow with an average of 7,7 and 7,2 respectively, Demo was also achieved all pigmentant substances put to the test: Red wine, Green Tee and Artificial Juices, were able to cause very marked coloration changes exceeding the set limit of 3.5 Delta E, proving that the changes are very perceptive to humans of the same way of achieving that the substance that produced the most pigmentation was red wine and the one that produced the least pigmentation was artificial juice.
