$30.000 US.
This research study was conducted at the premises of Teaching Hospital System University of Guayaquil, located at Km 23 perimeter road, with approximately 500 employees with an average of age 33 years, beginning his duties on April 17, 2005. In order to present alternative solutions to the potential problems with respect to the subject Environmental and implementation of ISO 14001, the suggestions and recommendations are intended to contribute to the proper management, storage, transport and disposal of hospital waste infectious generated in areas of high risk of contamination of a disease, not to cause physical damage and infections to personnel handling contaminated material, patients and community; further treatment wastewater, as to comply with the parameters required by the organizations of national and international environmental control. It also offers consideration of management consulting this material for making decisions in the short, medium or long term and thus can minimize the investment risk. The reference materials are the ISO 14001 code effective health and municipal environmental laws. After diagnosis acquiring an incinerator reach 1200 ° C is suggested ensuring eliminating the possibility of contamination through the live virus finally ashes will be placed in red bags a warning indicating that waste is highly dangerous source, costing the sum of the institution $ 30,000 U.S..
