This project aims to improve the food system of the population Ecuador, providing a nectar-based passion with which you get generate greater prevention of disease with high mortality, as is the artecleorosis and gastrointestinal ailments. According to the responses in market research, 94% of the population state that it would consume this new nectar, which shows that there is a potential demand for product. Once operations begin with, the plant will be located in the Imbabura province and is located in the canton of Atuntaqui, where they will produce an average of 723,433 pounds of fruit nectar per year. In terms of total investment need to finance the project ($ 775,019.06); the 10.65% of this value represent 50% of fixed investment, while the remaining 89.35% is will get through equity. The internal rate of return (IRR) is greater the discount rate used in the project, which is seen in 9.38%, on the other hand, the net present value (NPV) is $ 1,542,050.84, which amount is greater than 0, consecutively, the benefit cost ratio (B / C) provides that for every dollar invested in the project will get an income from sales of $ 1.37, generating a profit of $ 0.37 per dollar invested, which confirms the reliability and sustainability of the project.
