Resumen
En el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo, analizar la evolución de la Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED) en el Ecuador, periodo 2014-2018, dado que durante el periodo objeto de estudio se dieron importantes reformas como el aumento de la tarifa del Impuesto a la Salida de Divisas (ISD) que llegó a 5%, la creación del anticipo del impuesto a la renta e incluso un aumento momentáneo en la tarifa del Impuesto al Valor Agregado, que en el 2017 se elevó a 14%, haciendo que las captaciones de IED se redujeran, sin embargo, en el 2018 con la puesta en marcha de la Ley de Fomento Productivo estas crecieron 127%. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se recurre al método analítico, debido a que se revisaron series estadística históricas de variables relacionas con la IED. Los resultados obtenidos del análisis permiten corroborar el cumplimiento de la hipótesis, puesto que, si se potencia aquellos factores que influyen de manera positiva en la atracción de IED y se mitiga el efecto ocasionado por aquellos que la repelen, se podría contar con un clima de inversión atractivo en la economía ecuatoriana
The objective of this paper is to analyze the evolution of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Ecuador, 2014-2018 period, given that during the period under study there were important reforms such as the increase in the rate of the Tax on the Exit Currency (ISD) that reached 5%, the creation of the advance of the income tax and even a momentary increase in the rate of the Value Added Tax, which in 2017 rose to 14%, making the fundraising of FDI will be reduced, however, in 2018 with the implementation of the Productive Development Law, these grew 127%. The analytical method is used for the development of the research, because historical statistical series of variables related to FDI were reviewed. The results obtained from the analysis allow corroborating compliance with the hypothesis, since, if those factors that positively influence the attraction of FDI are enhanced and the effect caused by those who repel it is mitigated, a climate of attractive investment in the Ecuadorian economy
