Resumen
La actividad agrícola se considera como una de las de mayor impacto económico, social y ambiental. En el Cantón Santa Lucia la agricultura específicamente la producción de arroz es la principal fuente de ingresos económicos de la población. Por este motivo, se realiza la siguiente investigación con el objetivo de analizar las dificultades por las que atraviesa el sector arrocero del cantón, y se genera la siguiente pregunta, ¿Cómo incidieron las políticas aplicadas en el sector arrocero en el Cantón Santa Lucia durante el periodo 2013 – 2017? De aquí surge la idea de analizar la incidencia de las políticas aplicadas en el sector arrocero del Cantón Santa Lucia y los ingresos generados por esta actividad. La metodología que se usará para el desarrollo de este tema esta direccionada a un proceso investigativo que permitirá realizar el análisis de las políticas que se aplicaron y que efectos causo en la población del Cantón
