Resumen
Para elpresentetrabajode titulación,serealizóla implementación deunprototipodeescáner, donde los estudiantes podránmarcar su propia asistencia a travésde códigosde barrasúnicos e intransferibles que estaránimpresosen lascredencialesestudiantiles. La función del escánerestomar lecturadeloscódigosde barras, (previo a haberpresentado el código por el escáner)la asistenciase enviaráen elinstante alservidor local“XAMPP”,esta información será almacenada en la base de datos“MySQL”de la tabla “asistencia”.Si el estudiante o docente desearevisarlas asistencias se dirigiráa la páginaweb, creada en“Dreamweaver” donde podrá realizar las consultasenlas asignaturas que requiera. En la página existentresbotones de“Inicio”,“Docentes”(quienes tendráunusuario y contraseñapara iniciar sesión)y para “Alumnos” (quienesno requierenun inicio de sesión), solo con escribir su númerode códigode barra y seleccionar la asignatura, podrá realizarla consulta. Con este sistema automatizado los estudiantes llevaran la responsabilidady control de sus asistenciasde una forma ágil, práctica y segura. Uno de los beneficios del sistemaserá la optimizacióndel tiempo y procesos que llevan losdocentesen tomarasistencia.
For the present degree work, a prototype scanner was implemented, where students will be able to mark theirownattendance through unique and non-transferable barcodes that will be printed on the student credentials. The function of the scanner is to read the barcodes, (before having submitted the code by the scanner) the assistance will be sent instantly to the ‘XAMPP’local server, this information will be stored in the ‘MySQL’ database of the ‘assistance’table. If the student or teacher wants to check the attendance, he will go to the web page, created in ‘Dreamweaver’, where he will be able to make queries in the subjects he requires. On the page,there are three buttons ‘Home’, ‘Teachers’ (who will have a username and password to log in) and ‘Students’ (who do not require a login), just writingthe barcode number and select the subject, the querycan be done. With this automated system, students will have the responsibility and control of their attendance in an agile, practical and safe way. One of the benefits of the system will be the optimization of the time and processes that teachers get to take attendance.
