The application of antibiotic depends greatly on the overall patient, type and time of surgery. Your application will be considered more essential if in third molar pericoronitis because it has higher risk of infection compared with an impacted tooth. You can indicate more rigorously in surgery involving a extensive instrumentation or bone section or when it is prolonged, since the incidence of postoperative infection is higher when the lasts two hours or more oral surgery. Prophylactic antibiotics in diabetic patients who receive corticosteroids and who are immunocompromised. the choice of agent, dose, dosage and duration of prophylactic medication are crucial. Administration Agents antimicrobials should be so precise that a peak blood concentration occurs when the clot is forming in the surgical wound, why most oral agents are administered one hour before tooth extraction, while intramuscular agents administered intravenously immediately before surgery. when areas do not offer the necessary guarantees we must necessarily antibiotics prophylactically use, one of the antibiotics choice is amoxicilinamasacidoclavulanico prophylactically in cases pericoronal of inflammatory conditions. Everything stated above should make us ponder in addition to meeting the purpose of infection control is to comply with a legal requirement surgical procedures within
