Resumen
En las carreras de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales e Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad
de Guayaquil, surge la necesidad de una infraestructura tecnológica para un Sistema de Información
Geográfica, en este caso para un prototipo georeferencial de emprendimientos en la ciudad de
Guayaquil. El presente proyecto de titulación consiste en diseñar una alternativa viable de
infraestructura tecnológica, por medio del uso de la herramienta de software Visio, para contribuir
en la definición del prototipo georeferencial. La metodología que se utilizó fue la denominada
PPDIOO perteneciente a la empresa CISCO, la cual permitió mediante sus tres primeras etapas
tener un control y una organización del proceso de diseño de la infraestructura tecnológica. El
diseño tiene como objetivo ofrecer una solución a la necesidad que tienen las carreras
intervinientes, y en proporcionar un ambiente idóneo provisto de recursos tecnológicos adecuados,
para que el software GIS en cuestión, pueda ofrecer sus servicios de georeferencia de manera
eficiente. Los beneficiarios de este proyecto, además de las carreras involucradas, son los equipos
de desarrollo del prototipo y la base de datos georeferencial. El diseño cumple con las necesidades
de los servicios de georreferenciación del prototipo GIS, porque a través de él, es posible conocer
los elementos y recursos necesarios para su definición y correcto funcionamiento.
In the careers of Engineering in Computer Systems and Industrial Engineering of the University of Guayaquil, the need arises for a technological infrastructure for a Geographic Information System, in this case for a georeferential prototype of entrepreneurships in the city of Guayaquil. The present titling project consists of designing a viable alternative of technological infrastructure, by means of the use of the software tool Visio, to contribute in the definition of the georeferential prototype. The methodology used was the so-called PPDIOO belonging to the company CISCO, which allowed through its first three stages to have a control and organization of the design process of technological infrastructure. The design has as objective to offer a solution to the necessity that have the intervening careers, and in providing an ideal environment provided with suitable technological resources, so that the GIS software in question, can offer its services of georeference in an efficient way. The beneficiaries of this project, in addition to the careers involved, are the development teams of the prototype and the georeferential database. The design meets the needs of the georreferencing services of the GIS prototype, because through it, it is possible to know the elements and resources necessary for its definition and correct functioning.
