Resumen
La presente investigación trata acerca de los efectos adversos severos son la causa principal de las interrupciones en las sesiones de radioterapia, lo cual repercute negativamente en el beneficio terapéutico esperado de estas intervenciones. El control de las condiciones bucales desfavorables previo al comienzo del tratamiento constituye un factor de protección y condiciona la continuidad y el éxito terapéutico. El objetivo del presente trabajo es evaluar la prevalencia de las manifestaciones bucodentales como efectos secundarios a tratamientos radioactivos. Se utilizaron una serie de tesis y artículos científicos, para poder brindar soporte al proyecto de investigación, que se está llevando a cabo, también se desarrolló lo que es la fundamentación científica, donde se toman en cuenta las manifestaciones bucodentales y radioterapia y quimioterapia El tipo de investigación es relacional por que el estudio demuestra asociación o dependencia de los efectos de la radioterapia y quimioterapia en la cavidad bucal, el diseño de estudio es observacional descriptiva porque se analizan las anomalías que se presentan en los pacientes y el tratamiento utilizado.
The present investigation deals with severe adverse effects that are the main cause of interruptions in radiotherapy sessions, which negatively affects the expected therapeutic benefit of these interventions. The control of unfavorable oral conditions prior to the start of treatment constitutes a protective factor and conditions the continuity and therapeutic success. The objective of this work is to evaluate the prevalence of oral manifestations as secondary effects of radioactive treatments. A series of theses and scientific articles were used, in order to provide support to the research project, which is being carried out, the scientific foundation was also developed, where the dependent and independent variables are taken into account What are they;; oral manifestations and radiotherapy and chemotherapy The type of research is relational because the study shows an association or dependence of the effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in the oral cavity, the study design is descriptive observational since the anomalies that are presented will be analyzed in patients and the treatment used.
