Regeneración y ampliación del cementerio municipal en el cantón San Miguel de Bolívar, mediante la aplicación de criterios ecológicos

Resumen
El Cantón San Miguel de Bolívar posee una población de 27.244 habitantes según el
INEC 2010 en la actualidad la falta de infraestructura e insuficiencia de espacios tiene como
consecuencia sepulturas informales.
La finalidad de este proyecto es dar un espacio estéticamente agradable y que cubra la demanda existente y próximos 25 años. El rediseño del viejo y tradicional cementerio de San Miguel de Bolívar mediante la incorporación de áreas verdes, caminerías y equipamiento urbano responderán a la demanda actual.
La ampliación tendrá como finalidad la incorporación de un cementerio ecológico (capsulas biodegrable), de tal manera cubra las necesidades de los habitantes como infraestructura de crematorio, fúnebres y culto.
“San Miguel de Bolívar” has a population of 27,244 inhabitants according to INEC 2010, nowadays the lack of infrastructure and insufficient spaces has lead to informal burials. The aim of this project is to provide an aesthetically pleasing space that fulfils the existing demand along 25 year ahead. Redesigning the old and traditional cemetery of “San Miguel de Bolívar” will consist on new green areas, walkways and urban equipment that shall satisfy current demand. The strategy of the expansion will be the incorporation of an ecological cemetery with biodegradable capsules, in order to fulfil the needs of the residents such as crematorium, funeral and worship infrastructure.
