USO DE TERAPIAS ALTERNATIVAS EN LA REDUCCIÓN DE COMPORTAMIENTOS AGRESIVOS EN PACIENTES ESQUIZOFRÉNICOS DEL INSTITUTO DE NEUROCIENCIAS

Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación se lo realizo en la modalidad de sistematización de experiencias dentro del voluntariado en el instituto de neurociencias de Guayaquil, respectivamente en las áreas de terapia hortícola y arte terapia. El objeto de dicho trabajo es el uso de terapias alternativas para la reducción de comportamientos agresivos en pacientes esquizofrénicos del INC; la pregunta eje en la cual se basó la información es: ¿De qué manera las terapias alternativas contribuyen en la reducción de comportamientos agresivos en pacientes esquizofrénicos? Esto con el objetivo de caracterizar el uso de terapias alternativas en este tipo de pacientes que padecen esta enfermedad. Los instrumentos utilizados para esta investigación fueron: diarios de campo, fichas de evaluación inicial y método observacional, para realizar esta sistematización se dio los correctos pasos a seguir para lograr un orden específico dentro de la sistematización; de esta manera se evidencio que estas terapias determinan unas influencias significativas en el comportamiento de estos pacientes por medio de distintos factores tanto biológicas, contextuales y sociales, de la misma manera se pudo evidenciar que estas terapias en sujetos institucionalizados en conjunto con una farmacología son eficaces en cuanto a la mejora de comportamientos agresivos y calidad de vida que se ofrece al paciente
The present degree project work was carried out in the modality of systematization of experiences within volunteering at the institute of neurosciences of Guayaquil, respectively in the areas of horticultural therapy and art therapy. The purpose of this work is the use of alternative therapies for the reduction of aggressive behaviors in schizophrenic patients of INC; the key question on which the information was based is: How do alternative therapies contribute to the reduction of aggressive behaviors in schizophrenic patients? This with the aim of characterizing the use of alternative therapies in this type of patients with this disease. The instruments used for this research were: field journals, initial evaluation sheets and observational method, to perform this systematization the correct steps were taken to achieve a specific order within the systematization; in this way it is evident that these therapies determine significant influences on the behavior of these patients through different biological, contextual and social factors, in the same way it could be evidenced that these therapies in institutionalized subjects in conjunction with a pharmacology are effective in improving aggressive behaviors and quality of life offered to the patient
