Resumen
El actual documento ejecuta un diagnóstico de las exportaciones realizadas por el brócoli en Ecuador, identificando la estructura del sector productivo del Brócoli en Cotopaxi, al mismo tiempo se exhiben ciertas expectativas de valor agregado entorno al modelo de economía circular. La investigación almacena el concepto de ventajas comparativas y competitivas por el autor Michael Porter y a través del estudio se identificó a Cotopaxi como la provincia que produce el 89% de brócoli ecuatoriano seguido de otras provincias, con la estrategia climatología y territorial concibe que el producto asuma un color fenomenal y de excelente calidad haciéndose atractivo al mercado internacional. Se concluye que los programas de inversión a este sector se deberían impulsar, así también expandirse a nuevos nichos de mercado, a través de una intervención de los actores económicos con la creación de políticas agrícolas, arancelarias y de incitación al sector.
The current document executes a diagnosis of the exports made by broccoli in Ecuador, identifying the structure of the broccoli productive sector in Cotopaxi, at the same time certain expectations of added value around the circular economy model are exhibited.
