Desarrollo de una aplicación web dirigida a la gestión de proceso de publicaciones científicas en la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

El presente proyecto de titulación propone la realización de un aplicativo web que gestione los procesos de publicaciones científicas en la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Guayaquil, a fin de dar eficiencia y efectividad al trabajo que realiza el Departamento de Investigación. De esa forma se podrá hacer de esta facultad una fuente de información confiable y de continua producción científica. Se requiere realizar una aplicación que vaya registrando de manera consecutiva el trabajo investigativo de los docentes. De esa forma su obra científica abarcará una cantidad de información receptada, la cual proporcionó beneficio en el ámbito investigativo. Para la creación de esta aplicación web se utilizó la metodología en cascada, ya que se tiene como objeto englobar el proceso del proyecto de forma completa. Se implementó la recolección de datos mediante entrevistas realizadas al gestor de investigación y su asistente. Se utilizó la herramienta digital “Visual Studio Code” y la base de datos “Firebase”. Finalmente se llevó a cabo este proceso tomando en cuenta el tiempo considerable además que la elaboración del aplicativo web muestra los objetivos alcanzados lo cual se ha convertido en resultados favorables.

The following project proposes the Web Application development which allows to manage the process of scientific publications of Industrial Engineering School of the university of Guayaquil, with the purposed to give efficiency and effectiveness to the work that is done by the investigation department, in order to make this faculty a source of reliable information with on going scientific production. It is required to do an application that registers consequently the investigative work of teachers. In that way their scientific work is going to be checked closely, covering a lot of information received which provides a benefit in the investigative field. To develop this web application, the cascade methodology was used, since it is intended to encompass the project process completely. Data collection was implemented through interviews with the research manager and the assistant. The digital tool "Visual Studio Code" and the database "Firebase" were used. In conclusion, it has been carried out this process taking a considerably time, moreover the system devising shows the objectives fulfilled which has become in positive results.
