Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación realizado en la empresa Goldenplast S.A. evidenció por
medio de las técnicas aplicadas de entrevista y encuestas, ciertas falencias que presenta en el
área de crédito y cobranza, llegando a la conclusión que no disponen de un Manual de Políticas
de Crédito y Cobranzas, por esta razón no se realiza una eficiente evaluación crediticia a los
clientes antes de otorgarle un crédito, ignorando así el riesgo que podría ocasionar a futuro en
la estabilidad financiera, así como el desconocimiento del personal en las funciones que debe
desempeñar generando confusión en su desempeño. Por tanto la propuesta se origina por la
falta de directrices y lineamientos que se debe seguir para que la gestión crediticia. La finalidad
de la investigación es diseñar un Manual de Políticas y Procedimientos para optimizar el
departamento de crédito y cobranza en la empresa Goldenplast S.A. la que ayudaría a una mejor
administración de la cartera de clientes de la empresa.
The present research work carried out in the company Goldenplast S.A. showed through the applied techniques of interviewing and surveys, certain shortcomings that it presents in the area of credit and collection, concluding that they do not have a Manual of Credit and Collections Policies, for this reason, customers are not efficiently assessed before credit is granted, thus ignoring the risk that could be caused in the future in financial stability, as well as the lack of knowledge of staff in the functions they must perform causing confusion in their performance. In other words. The proposal therefore arises from the lack of guidelines and guidelines that must be followed for credit management. The purpose of the research is to design a Manual of Policies and Procedures to optimize the department of credit and collection in the company Goldenplast S.A. which would help a better management of the client portfolio of the company.
