Resumen
En la presente investigación se evalúa el análisis de la hiperplasia o
agrandamiento gingival en pacientes con tratamientos ortodónticos,
ya que en muchos casos suele ser una condición propios de los
individuos el no tener un buen hábito de higiene bucal, ya sea en
pacientes que estén bajo este tratamiento de ortodoncia o no,
entonces la idea es que todo paciente antes de iniciar cualquier tipo
de tratamiento debe ser educado mediante charlas preventivas, de
esa manera el paciente tome también conciencia y ponga gran
interés y llegue a realizarse mediante técnicas de cepillado indicadas
por su odontólogo buena salud bucal u oral, ya que de no ser así
desarrollaran serios problemas tanto a nivel de tejidos blandos como
tejidos duros que en su mayoría es producida por la placa bacteriana
y a su vez por factores locales como en el caso de los pacientes con
dispositivos de ortodoncia en la cual estos suelen ser muy retentivos
de placa bacteriana. El objetivo de la presente investigación es
determinar si la placa bacteriana es un verdadero factor causante de
la hiperplasia o agrandamiento gingival en los pacientes con
tratamientos de ortodoncia a través de los factores locales como lo
son los dispositivos ortodónticos que son retentores de alimentos, y
de esta manera determinar mediante este los diferentes tipos de
tratamientos, utilizando la metodología se aplicara medidas
preventivas, el buen uso y manejo de las correctas técnicas de
cepillado, y tratamientos no quirúrgicos y quirúrgicos requeridos.
