Reactivación integral de espacios públicos en el Barrio Cuba en la ciudad de Guayaquil, 2020

Resumen
El barrio Cuba, primer sector industrial de la ciudad de Guayaquil,
ubicada entre las calles el Oro y 3er callejón 44SE, fue un sector que
cambió drásticamente su uso industrial a residencial. No existió
ninguna planificación urbana previa por lo cual no se contemplaron
distintos espacios públicos necesarios para una mejor calidad de vida
de los habitantes.
En la investigación se utilizó el método inductivo, partiendo de lo
general a lo específico y priorizando el enfoque cualitativo, a través de
varias técnicas de observación, mapeos y análisis, que se logró
analizar el comportamiento de los usuarios con los espacios públicos,
concluyendo con el 80% de los moradores que tienen inconformidad
por la falta de espacios de recreación, deportivos y ocio.
De acuerdo a los datos obtenidos se encontraron soluciones que
ayudarían a que el barrio Cuba tenga una reactivación integral, en
donde se consideran las necesidades de los habitantes.
Respectivamente, se planteó la elaboración de diferentes estrategias,
que promueven la integración e interacción de los habitantes con los
espacios públicos. Del mismo modo con la organización del comercio,
con la promoción de un entorno social confortable y teniendo en cuenta
la conexión y accesibilidad peatonal y fluvial
The Cuba neighborhood, the first industrial sector of the city of Guayaquil, located between Calle el Oro and 3er callejón 44SE, was a sector that drastically changed its industrial use to residential. There was no previous urban planning, therefore, different public spaces were not contemplated which a necessary for improved a good inhabitant’s quality of life. The inductive method was used during the research, starting from the general to specific aspects, prioritizing the qualitative approach, through various techniques: observation, mapping and analysis. These allowed to analyze user’s behavior of public spaces, concluding that 80% of residents are dissatisfied because of the lack of spaces for recreation, sports or leisure. According to the data obtained, solutions were found that would help the Cuba neighborhood to have a comprehensive reactivation, where the needs of the inhabitants are considered. Respectively, different strategies were proposed, where promote the integration and interaction of the inhabitants with public spaces. In the same way: trade organization, throw a comfortable social environment promotion and considering the pedestrians and rivers accessibility and connection.
