Resumen
El tema central de esta tesis son los hábitos de protección y cuidado ambiental
que tienen los habitantes de la Cooperativa 5 de Diciembre de la
Parroquia Pascuales de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Como es de conocimiento de muchos
la degradación y los problemas del medio ambiente son resultado de los muchos actos
inconscientes de las personas que vivimos en el planeta tierra a lo largo de los años.
En respuesta a todos esos actos es que podemos justificar la respuesta del medio
ambiente a través de distintos fenómenos a nivel mundial que afecta la estabilidad y la
calidad de vida de muchas personas. Es por ello que muchas de las entidades
competentes han tomado medidas con el fin de brindar los derechos necesarios al
medio ambiente y de esta forma garantizar el bienestar de las generaciones futuras.
El propósito de esta tesis es caracterizar los hábitos de las personas que viven dentro
de la cooperativa 5 de diciembre, debido a que estos tienen una gran influencia e
impacto en su medio ambiente ya sea positivo o negativo.
Para esto se realizaron cuestionarios de entrevistas que permitieron tener una
información directa de los habitantes y su accionar con el medio ambiente. Fue
fundamental la participación de actores externos, pues brindaron su aporte con una
perspectiva un poco más amplia y realista de lo que sucede dentro de la Cooperativa.
Con la aplicación de lo antes mencionado se obtuvieron resultados que permitieron
llegar a conclusiones valiosas como que los habitantes tienen hábitos rescatables en
pro del medio ambiente, sin embargo, hay que seguir fomentando en ellos nuevos
hábitos que les brinde conocimientos nuevos de cómo cuidar su entorno desde su
hogar, aplicando y cumpliendo con los sistemas de recolección y separación de

basura. Los niños a través de las enseñanzas impartidas desde las diversas Unidades
Educativas y por medio de transmisión de conocimientos de padres a hijos son
aquellos que tienen los hábitos más enfatizados y serán los futuros promotores del
cambio con sus conocimientos, brindarán el apoyo necesario para brindar a las nuevas
sociedades un medio ambiente en mejores condiciones.The central theme of this thesis is the habits of protection and environmental
care that the inhabitants of the Cooperative 5 de Dicember of the Pascuales parish of
the city of Guayaquil have. As is known to many, the degradation and problems of the
environment are the result of the many unconscious acts of the people who live on
planet earth over the years.
In response to all these acts, we can show the response of the environment
through different phenomena worldwide that affect the stability and quality of life of
many people. That is why many of the competent entities have taken measures in order
to provide the necessary rights to the environment and thus guarantee the well-being of
future generations.
The purpose of this thesis is to characterize the habits of the people who live
within the cooperative December 5, because these have a great influence and impact
on their environment, whether positive or negative. For this, interview questionnaires
were carried out that allowed direct information on the inhabitants and their actions with
the environment. The participation of external actors was fundamental, since they
offered their contribution with a slightly broader and more realistic perspective of what
happens within the Cooperative.
With the application of the aforementioned, results were obtained that allowed us
to reach valuable conclusions such as that the inhabitants have redeemable habits in
favor of the environment, however, we must continue to promote new habits in them
through campaigns that provide them with new knowledge of how to take care of your
environment from your home, applying and complying with the garbage collection and

separation systems. Children through the teachings given from the various Educational
Units and through the transmission of knowledge from parents to children are those who
have the most emphasized habits and will be the future promoters of change with their
knowledge, they will provide the necessary support to provide the new societies an
environment in better conditions.
