Resumen
En el cantón Naranjal se ha utilizado por muchos años el espacio público para realizar
actividades como la llegada y salida de buses locales, intercantonales e nterprovinciales, lo que
conlleva al embarque y desembarque de pasajeros en las vías públicas, en este caso en la vía
Panamericana. Estas actividades dan paso a problemáticas como la presencia de vendedores
ambulantes, congestionamiento vehicular y desorganización del espacio público.
Para el presente trabajo se realizó una investigación exhaustiva para calcular el número
de cooperativas que operan dentro y fuera del cantón, conocer el número de usuarios y establecer
los beneficios al entorno urbano y de movilidad. Como resultado se presenta el diseño
arquitectónico del Terminal de Transporte Terrestre que incluye todas las zonas necesarias para
realizar las actividades pertinentes, y a la vez pueda integrarse al entorno de manera positiva
In Naranjal Canton, have been used since a long time ago, the public space to carry out activities like the arrival and the departure of local and interprovincial busses, which leads to the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers on the public roads, in this case the Panamerican Highway. This activities give way to issues such as the presence of Street vendors, vehicular congestion and the disorganization of the public space. For the present work a thorough research had been conducted to calculate the number of cooperatives operating inside and outside the town, to know the number of users and stablish the benefits to the urban and mobility environment. As a result, the architectural design of the land transport terminal which includes all the required areas for the develop of pertinent activities and at the same time be able to integrate positively into the environment.
