Factores asociados al engagement en profesionales de enfermería del Hospital de Infectologia Dr. José Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña en la ciudad de Guayaquil del año 2019

Resumen
Antescedentes: El estado engagement es donde se desenvuelven los trabajadores de manera eficiente, mostrando agrado y pasión por su trabajo, sintiendo los tres factores que caracterizan a esta teoría cual es el vigor, dedicación y absorción. Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados que permiten el desarrollo del estado engagement en los profesionales de enfermería del Hospital de Infectología. Método: El abordaje metodológico del proyecto es de tipo cualitativo, humanista, el cual permitió llegar a los pensamientos y sentimientos de los profesionales de enfermería. Se utilizó una entrevista semiestructurada conformada por preguntas abiertas de componente ético. Resultados: Los profesionales de enfermería refieren que desarrollaron el estado engagement debido a motivaciones internas como el demostrar todas sus habilidades y así tener el reconocimiento de sus compañeros, las motivaciones externas respondían a las necesidades fisiológicas y de seguridad, las que, a su vez se veían afectadas por problemas familiares, lo que generó sentimientos de preocupación que impidieron la concentración en su trabajo. El ambiente laboral, actitud, aptitud y el compañerismo también juega un papel importante lo cual puede jugar a favor y en contra del desempeño laboral. Conclusión: El estado engagement tiene efectos positivos en cuanto a amar y desarrollar un excelente trabajo, pero repercute de manera negativa en el rol familiar al no poder separarse fácilmente del trabajo.
Background: The state of commitment is where workers perform efficiently, showing pleasure and passion for their work, feeling the three factors that characterize this theory which is vigor, dedication and absorption. Objective: To determine the associated factors that allow the development of the state in the nursing professionals of the Infectious Hospital. Method: The methodological approach of the project is of a qualitative type, humanistic, which has to reach the thoughts and feelings of the nursing professionals. It was considered a semi-structured interview consisting of open questions of ethical component. Results: The nursing professionals identified that they developed the state of commitment because they had internal motivations such as demonstrating all their skills and thus having the recognition of their peers, the external motivations would respond to physiological and safety needs, in turn they would be due to problems family members, which generates feelings of concern which implies that they can concentrate on their work, work environment, attitude, aptitude and companionship also plays an important role which can play a favor and against work performance. Conclusion: The state of commitment has positive effects in terms of loving and developing an excellent job, but it has a negative impact on the family role as it cannot easily separate from work.
