calidad.
Hepatitis B is a liver infection that spreads easily, usually has no symptoms, if present these appear between six weeks and six months after the infection time to have transmit the disease to other people through the exchange of body fluids such as semen, blood, urine. Biosafety regulations are intended to reduce the risk of transmission of microorganisms in health services in dentistry mainly by linking to blood exposure accidents or spittle during a dental procedure as in the case of root canals, periodontal, surgery and to prophylaxis. This literature review will outline the preventive measures to be taken specifically in endodontic treatment biopulpectomía procedure in which infected the vital pulp of a tooth for subsequent three-dimensional obturation of the canal is completely eliminated. The pulp of a tooth is in the innermost portion thereof and is made up of blood vessels, collagen fibers, reticular, nerve fibers, intercellular substance, among others; It is one organ that connects the tooth to bone so that the inevitable moment of removal will be blood exposure means the existence of cross infection affecting both the professional, the team that makes up the office and future patients who come to the dental office. This paper aims to raise awareness among dentists and dental students to know the importance of biosecurity applying its safety standards, whose main objective is the preservation of health in people who come to our clinic for quality treatments.
