Análisis del mercado de valores para financiamiento de inversiones en el ecuador, periodo: 2017 - 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó con la finalidad de analizar al Mercado de Valores Nacional como una opción para el financiamiento de inversiones, considerando que la mayoría de los ecuatorianos se financian a través de las instituciones bancarias, esto en gran medida se debe a que desconocen el funcionamiento, ventajas y beneficios que les ofrece el mercado bursátil. Así mismo, se analiza el funcionamiento y desarrollo de este mercado además de los datos relacionados a las negociaciones de los últimos tres años en las Bolsas de Valores de Guayaquil y Quito. También se da a conocer los entes reguladores de este mercado los cuales son los encargados del correcto funcionamiento y transparencia en la compra y venta de todos aquellos instrumentos financieros que se intercambian en él. Por otro lado, se presentan los resultados de la entrevista realizada a dos personas especializadas en el tema a las cuales se les realizo una serie de preguntas que permiten despejar dudas acerca de este mercado y el porqué del bajo desarrollo en el país. Finalmente, se presentan las respectivas recomendaciones con respecto a la institucionalidad y funcionamiento actual del mercado.

This research was carried out in order to analyze the national stock market as an option for financing investments, considering that most Ecuadorians are financed through banking institutions, this is largely due to the fact that they do not know the operation, advantages and benefits offered by the stock market. Likewise, the operation and development of this market is analyzed in addition to the data related to the negotiations of the last three years in the Guayaquil and Quito Stock Exchanges. The regulatory entities of this market are also made known, which are in charge of the correct functioning and transparency in the purchase and sale of all those financial instruments that are exchanged in it. On the other hand, the results of the interview carried out with two people specialized in the subject are presented to whom a series of questions were asked that allow to clear doubts about this market and the reason for the low development in the country. Finally, the respective recommendations regarding the institutional framework and current operation of the market are presented.
