Resumen
Esta investigación se orienta al análisis de las captaciones del sector financiero social y solidario. El objetivo
inicial es estudiar la tendencia de las captaciones del segmento 2 del periodo 2016-2020, partiendo de los
resultados del total acumulado de las captaciones financieras por tipos de depósitos, número de
clientes y número de cuentas clasificadas por regiones tales como costa, sierra, amazonia e insular,
al igual que la participación de las entidades financieras social y solidarias. La investigación cuenta
con un enfoque cuantitativo, se administró la técnica de revisión documental, mientras que la data
obtenida fue sacada del portal web oficial de la SEPS. Los resultados de este estudio determinaron
que las captaciones del segmento 2, son segundas en orden de importación en relación al resto de
segmentos, por otro lado, se evidenció que la tendencia de la integridad de las captaciones del
segmento 2 fue negativa. Es importante considerar al año 2017 que registró una mayor
participación de recaudación.
