Resumen
El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar la producción del cantón Daule y su aporte al sector agrícola nacional, durante el periodo 2015-2019. Por medio del análisis documental de tipo descriptivo, estadística descriptiva y análisis de datos a través de la construcción de tablas y figuras, se demuestra que si bien el cantón Daule aporta con la producción de esta gramínea, este sector se ve afectado por la subida de costos, la reducción del número de superficies cosechadas y sobre todo por la caída de los precios durante el año de estudio, afectando la rentabilidad del agricultor arrocero, su bienestar social, e incide en su aportación al sector agrícola a nivel nacional. Por lo cual, se sugiere una propuesta de política de sostenimiento de precios, a través de la reapertura de la empresa de adquisición, almacenamiento y ventas (UNA EP). Es por esto que se recomienda mejoras de estructura, fortalecer la comercialización interna, externa, mantener capacitaciones constantes, lo cual mantendría los precios justos, beneficiaría al sector agrícola y al arrocero dauleño.
The objective of this research is to analyze the production of the Daule canton and its contribution to the national agricultural sector, during the period 2015-2019. Through descriptive documentary analysis, descriptive statistics and data analysis through the construction of tables and figures, it is shown that although the Daule canton contributes with the production of this grass, this sector is affected by the rise in costs, the reduction in the number of harvested areas and above all due to the fall in prices during the study year, affecting the profitability of the rice farmer, their social welfare, and affects their contribution to the agricultural sector at the national level. Therefore, a proposal for a price support policy is suggested, through the reopening of the acquisition, storage and sales company (UNA EP). For this reason, it is recommended to improve the structure, strengthen internal and external commercialization, maintain constant training, which would keep prices fair, benefit the agricultural sector and the Dauleño rice producer.
