In this investigations is to improve the efficiency of the work done in the dental practice, adopting the best ergonomic working positions in the maxilla.Aims to determine the importance of ergonomic locatin of the patient and operator when you go t work in the maxillary. The universe of this research are 50 students who are in the clinic comprehensive dental pilot school. Analyzing the results of this research were obtained that 68% did not know the importance of ergonomic location, 36% think poor posture cause pain skeletal muscle, 43% stress and 21% conditions musculoskeletal. The research problem we consider the following problem: lack of suitable positions at the time of care, as should be the patient and the operator when operative acts will perform in the maxilla. Therefore we propose the following hypothesis: If proper ergonomic postures for both the patient and the operator will be analyzed when working in the maxilla avoid future problems at the joint and musculoskeletal system. The type of field study and literature of this work is aimed at systemic holistic approach to process. A contribution to support this research is conducted by students attending the integral Pilot Clinic Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Guayaquil.
