Resumen
Durante muchos años el tiempo utilizado para elaborar restauraciones
indirectas en dientes posteriores con técnicas de incrementación del material
obturador han causado muchos inconvenientes tanto a odontólogos
particulares como a instituciones que dan servicio de salud oral a
conglomerados como por ejemplo el ministerio de salud u otras de carácter
público o privado. En los últimos años nuevos materiales han intentado reducir
parte del tiempo y esfuerzo necesario para la estratificación y adaptación del
composite en dientes posteriores. Los nuevos materiales de resina compuesta
se los puede utilizar en la técnica de restauraciones de una sola carga así
como también nuevas lámparas de luz halógenas ahorrándonos tiempo y
volviendo más económicos este tipo de restauraciones. El objetivo de esta
investigación es definir el tiempo y el costo ahorrado utilizando nuevas técnicas
de restauraciones en dientes posteriores. Publicaciones científicas de
relevancia respecto a éste tema fueron revisadas sistemáticamente. La
selección de los artículos utilizados se limitó a aquellos que hicieran referencia
a los diferentes tipos de técnicas en dientes posteriores que nos permitan
ahorrar tiempo.
