Resumen
El rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de educación superior, está
ligado directamente a la formación científica que reciben en las aulas
universitarias procurado por docentes, cuya valía dependerá de las
estrategias y mecanismos que se adopten en el proceso educativo para
forjar hombres y mujeres probos, capaces de dar respuesta a las
expectativas que el mundo y la sociedad inducidos por el boom tecnológico
y el incesante avance de la ciencia le imponen. Hablar de Didáctica
Universitaria en el contexto de educación superior es hacer referencia al
papel que desempeña la docencia y al docente universitario en la formación
de expertos. Siendo para la Didáctica el objeto de estudio el proceso
docente-educativo, se identifica por haber desarrollado un sistema de
conceptos, categorías y leyes, cuya sinergia potencian el perfeccionamiento
de profesionales críticos, innovadores, con alto sentido de
solidaridad social. Para realizar la presente investigación se aplicó una
metodología cualitativa, de corte histórico-descriptivo, para analizar el
proceso docente-educativo en la Universidad de Guayaquil, y conocer la
realidad la institución desde la perspectiva del docente y del estudiante,
elementos que por sus características definidas son el pilar fundamental del
cambio social, siendo referentes de calidad para la Educación Superior a
nivel mundial. Como estrategia para alcanzar el objetivo enmarcado en la
Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior y el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo, se
propone el diseño de un curso de Didáctica Universitaria, presentar las
características de esta disciplina y sus contenidos como cuerpo de
conocimiento idóneo para la formación de profesionales de calidad.
Academician of students in higher education, performance is tied directly to the scientific training they receive in university classrooms sought by teachers, whose value depends on the strategies and mechanisms adopted in the educational process to forge men and upright women, capable to respond to the expectations that the world and society induced by the technology boom and the relentless advance of science imposed. Talk of University Teaching in the context of higher education is to refer to the role of teaching and university lecturer in the training of experts. As for the object of study Teaching the educational, it identifies process for developing a system of concepts, categories and laws, whose synergies enhance the improvement of critical, innovative professionals with high sense of social solidarity. To make this research a qualitative methodology of historical and descriptive section was applied to analyze the educational process at the University of Guayaquil, and know the reality institution from the perspective of teacher and student, elements whose characteristics defined are the cornerstone of social change, quality being related for Higher Education worldwide. As a strategy to achieve the objective framed in the Law on Higher Education and the National Development Plan, designing a course teaching university it intends to present the characteristics of this discipline and its contents as a body suitable knowledge for training professionals quality.
