Resumen
El objetivo principal del presente trabajo de investigación es el de analizar la incidencia del Acuerdo de Alcance de Renegociación Número 29 en las relaciones comerciales de México y Ecuador durante el periodo comprendido entre 2010 y 2018. Para esto se utilizó una metodología de investigación cuantitativa y de tipo longitudinal en función de que se determinó que partidas arancelarias presentaron mayor flujo comercial entre México y Ecuador durante el periodo comprendido entre 2010-2018, y se procedió a describir su evolución en el tiempo. Los procesos metodológicos implementados permitieron identificar que el AAP No. 29 incide en el déficit comercial que Ecuador mantuvo con México entre 2010 y 2018 en función de que las preferencias arancelarias que se le otorga a Ecuador no se ajustan a un porcentaje significativo del universo de productos que se exportaron hacia México.
Actualmente se generan conversaciones para profundizar este acuerdo, conversaciones que apuntan a la negociación de un acuerdo de libre comercio.
The main objective of this research work is to analyze the incidence of Renegotiation Scope Agreement Number 29 in the commercial relations of Mexico and Ecuador during the period between 2010 and 2018. For this, a quantitative and research methodology was used. Longitudinal type since it was determined that tariff items presented the highest trade flow between Mexico and Ecuador during the period between 2010-2018, and its evolution over time was described. The methodological processes implemented allowed to identify that AAP No. 29 affects the trade deficit that Ecuador maintained with Mexico between 2010 and 2018 based on the fact that the tariff preferences granted to Ecuador do not adjust to a significant percentage of the universe of products that were exported to Mexico. Talks are currently being generated to deepen this agreement, conversations that point to the negotiation of a free trade agreement.
