Resumen
Se realizó una investigación cuya intención fue elaborar un plan de implementación
basado en el protocolo IPv6 para brindar mayor seguridad y eficacia a la red, se empleó un
diseño descriptivo-cuantitativo en el que participaron alrededor de 40 personas de la empresa
AVcamtech ubicada en la ciudad de Babahoyo, tanto los clientes como personal
administrativo y de mantenimiento conforman esta muestra; se entrevistó al gerente general
de la empresa quien también es uno de los propietarios. Se empleó como instrumento de
investigación, la encuesta y entrevista para evaluar a los clientes acerca de que piensan de
la empresa y si están a gusto con el servicio que están prestando; análisis técnico y
comparativo para cotejar los resultados de la implementación del protocolo IPv6 de una
manera exitosa. Los resultados prueban que existen fallas en la empresa en el ámbito de
infraestructura y se detectaron ciertas oportunidades de mejoras sugeridas por los clientes.
Por consiguiente, se deduce que una reestructuración de red de la empresa será un beneficio,
porque brindará mayor seguridad, eficacia y rapidez; estos son los beneficios que deben de
tener los clientes para que ellos escojan AVcamtech sobre otras empresas.
The Research developed an implementation plan based on the IPv6 protocol to provide greater security and efficiency to the network, a descriptive-quantitative design was used with the participation of about 40 users from the company AVcamtech located in the city of Babahoyo, customers, administrative and maintenance personnel conform this sample; the general manager of the company, who is also one of the owners, was interviewed. A survey and interview were used as a research instrument to evaluate what customers think of the company and if they are satisfied with the provided service; technical and comparative analysis to compare the results of the successful implementation of the IPv6 protocol have also being applied. The results prove that there are failures in the company in the area of infrastructure and certain opportunities for improvement suggested by customers were detected. Therefore, it is deduced that a network restructuring of the company will be a benefit because it will provide greater security, efficiency, and speed; these are the advantages that customers must have for them to choose AVcamtech over other companies.
