ciudades a nivel nacional, cuyos resultados
Several statistical studies report a lower incidence of reading in young Ecuadorians. Due to the ongoing reality of our society, it challenged us to research the root cause of the problem. Based on statistical data taken from different cities at the national level. The results show that 57% of Ecuadorians consider reading to be a dull and unreal exciting activity. Therefore, the outcome led to several factors, including parents’ lack of interest in their children’s education, the disengagement of their obligations to young people and addressing the endorsement of these tasks towards teachers, and finally distracting agents, typical of a digital age. The main objective of the writing is to raise awareness among society about education and the importance given to children. Adolescents from home in terms of reading habits and, in turn, to offer solutions that contribute to changing the perspective that young people have towards reading, making it a more non-mechanized spontaneous act. As a result of this research, the proposal is to strengthen the link between teachers and parents to reinforce these forgotten practices jointly so that an individual who contributes to society may develop fully in the future.
