Resumen
La investigación presenta el análisis de un conjunto habitacional ubicado en la ciudad de Durán que forma parte del Programa “Manuela Espejo”, desarrollado por el Gobierno Nacionalpara solucionar el problema del hábitat precario en el país. Este proyecto está dirigido hacia una población con discapacidades físicas importantes, condiciones de vulnerabilidad, marginalidad y extrema pobreza. Se trata de soluciones habitacionales mínimas deuna vivienda adecuada con facilidades de acceso y condiciones necesarias para personas con discapacidad. El objetivo de la investigación es determinar si el proyecto habitacional responde a las características y necesidades de los usuarios.El análisis parte de la información obtenida a través de encuestas sobre la percepción de los usuarios en cuanto a las condiciones de habitabilidad considerandolos aspectos físico-espacialesy psico-sociales para evaluar la adaptación y conformidad de los usuarios a su nuevo hábitat.A partir de la información obtenida,se brindan recomendaciones que sirven de base para la elaboración de viviendas más adaptadas a sus habitantes y al contexto donde se ubican.
The research presents the analysis of a housing complex located in the city of Durán that is part of the "Manuela Espejo" program, developed by the national government to solve the problem of precarious habitat in the country. This project is aimed at a population with significant physical disabilities, conditions of vulnerability, marginality and extreme poverty. These are minimum housing solutions for adequate housing with access facilities and conditions necessary for people with disabilities. The objective of the research is to determine if the housing project responds to the characteristics and needs of the users.The analysis starts from the information obtained through surveys about the perception of the users as tothe habitability conditions considering the physical-spatial and psycho-social aspects to evaluate the adaptation and conformity of the users to their new habitat.Based on the information obtained, recommendations are provided that serve as a basis for the development of housing more adapted to its inhabitants and the context in which they are located
