Resumen
La presente investigación detalla el estudio realizado a la comunidad de Sinchal ubicada en la parroquia Manglarato provincia de Santa Elena. El objetivo fue analizar los elementos del sistema turístico que permita el reconocimiento actual del sector para el diseño de un centro turístico. Se aplicó una metodología de enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo; con una metodología teórica de análisis y síntesis, y una metodología empírica de observación. Las técnicas de recopilación de datos fueron: la observación directa, que permitió verificar las condiciones actuales del sector, factor social, e infraestructura, la encuesta aplicada a los 384 potenciales turistas que usan la Ruta del Spondylus (moradores de sectores cercanos o visitantes), que ven a la comuna como sitio de paso, por estar ubicado en una intersección y con problemas de obras inconclusas, las cuales afectan el acceso y tránsito dentro de la comuna. El resultado logrado fue reconocer las condiciones de los elementos del sistema turístico de la comuna, que permitan proyectarse como un nuevo sitio de estancia. Se evidenció la aceptación de la propuesta de impulsar el desarrollo turístico y la factibilidad administrativa del desarrollo de un centro recreacional dentro de la comunidad Sinchal.
The present investigation details the study carried out in the Sinchal community located in the Manglarato parish in the province of Santa Elena. The objective was to analyze the elements of the tourist system that allow the current recognition of the sector for the design of a tourist center. A qualitative and quantitative approach methodology was applied; with a theoretical methodology of analysis and synthesis, and an empirical methodology of observation. The data collection techniques were: direct observation, which allowed verifying the current conditions of the sector, social factor, and infrastructure, the survey applied to the 384 potential tourists who use the Spondylus Route (residents of nearby sectors or visitors), who see the commune as a place of passage, for being located at an intersection and with problems of unfinished works, which emerge access and transit within the commune. The result achieved was to recognize the conditions of the elements of the tourist system of the commune, which allowed it to be projected as a new place of stay. The acceptance of the proposal to promote tourism development and the administrative feasibility of developing a recreational center within the Sinchal community was evidenced.
