Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación se realiza para conocer cuál es la percepción de los alumnos de la Facultad de Ciencia Psicológicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil ante la delincuencia e inseguridad por la que atraviesa la ciudad y el mundo durante el año 2022, el objetivo general de esta investigación es caracterizar perceptualmente la respuesta ante el miedo a la delincuencia en el grupo estudiado, empleando un método cualitativo con alcance descriptivo. Se realizó un grupo focal conformado por 12 estudiantes de la facultad de psicología, se aplicó un test de percepción del miedo al delito y cuestionarios de tipología y percepción del delito. Se concluye el estudio determinando que existe una repercusión directa en los cambios conductuales de los individuos debido al alto nivel de percepción de la delincuencia que poseen; se recomienda tomar en consideración las diferentes zonas rojas de alto índice delictivo para movilizarse de manera más segura
