Resumen
La presente tesis es un estudio técnico y financiero que cubre todos los elementos de un plan de negocio, desde la constitución de la empresa que respaldará sus operaciones hasta el desarrollo y comercialización de sus productos y servicios. El principal objetivo es desarrollar y comercializar soluciones informáticas especializadas, simples e innovadoras, con costos accesibles para el mercado; siendo su primer servicio un sitio web interinstitucional para consultar calificaciones estudiantiles. Este servicio está dirigido a las instituciones educativas que no poseen infraestructura tecnológica o recursos económicos suficientes para publicar las calificaciones de sus estudiantes en la web. En el estudio se utilizó información actualizada y publicada sobre el sistema educativo del Ecuador y sobre el acceso de la población a dispositivos tecnológicos e Internet; los datos obtenidos permitieron determinar el mercado objetivo y estimar las posibilidades de éxito frente a la oferta y demanda existentes. El plan de negocio contempla dos fases, en la primera se planifican y ejecutan los procesos de constitución, logística, personal, equipos y diseño del sistema; la segunda fase abarca la comercialización y los análisis financieros que garantizan la cobertura de costos durante el tiempo de vida del proyecto. Se incluye además un segmento para el análisis técnico, resaltando la metodología RAD utilizada para desarrollar sistemas en el menor tiempo y costo posible. En el tema financiero, se analizaron diferentes escenarios de ventas, permitiendo identificar el escenario objetivo como el más realista y alcanzable, con una proyección de ventas de 108 contratos anuales a un precio de venta de $480.00 por año, dando un TIR de 47% y un tiempo de recuperación de inversión de 3 años 5 meses. En conclusión, el presente plan de negocio refleja rentabilidad y sostenibilidad en el futuro; por lo tanto el proyecto es viable y es recomendable invertir en su ejecución.
This thesis is a technical and scientific study that covers all the elements of a business plan, beginning by the constitution of the company that will support their operations, and finishing with the development and marketing of its products and services. The main objective is to develop specialized, innovative and simple technological solutions; with affordable prices for the market; the first service will be a interinstitutional website to check student grades. This service is intended for educational institutions that have no technological infrastructure or sufficient financial resources to publish the grades of their students on the web. In the study was used information updated and published about the educational system of Ecuador and the access of the population to technological devices and Internet information; the data obtained allowed to determinate the market target and estimate the chances of success against the existing supply and demand. The business plan includes two phases, the first phase includes the constitution process, the logistic, and organization of the employees, equipments and the application design; the second phase includes the merchandising and the financial analysis for ensure cost coverage during the life time of the project. It also includes a segment for technical analysis, highlighting the RAD methodology used to develop systems in the shortest possible time. In the financial part different sales scenarios were analyzed in order to identify the target scenario as the most realistic and achievable, projecting sales of 108 annual contracts, with estimated price of $ 480.00 per contract, giving an IRR of 47% and a time of inversion recovery of 3 years and 5 months. In conclusion, this business plan reflects a high profitability and sustainability for the future; therefore the project is viable and is advisable to invest in its execution.
