A major evolution in dentistry was the replacement of lost natural teeth by osseointegrated implants, mainly from the work of some authors. Factors of knowledge about the biology of adjacent tissues, improvement of biocompatible materials, design and surface of the implants, as well as the biomechanical aspects, surgical techniques and load conditions directly influenced the success of the osseointegration of dental implants. Depending on the implant-abutment connection we can differentiate between internal or external connection. The distinguishing factor that separates the two types is the presence or absence of a geometric figure lying on the surface of the implant crown. Today on the market a variety of implants, only in Spain more than 50 different houses, houses have individual subtypes of course for your customer to choose from. So what should be taken into account when choosing an implant? The answer to this question is not easy because not only is determined by one factor but by many. The macro and microdesign, the biological behavior, the type of implant-abutment connection, materials and manufacturing techniques or prosthetic solutions are just some examples. This research is based on theoretical and practical Diploma in Implantology. Made in the Graduate School of Dentistry, Faculty Thus in the period 2009
