redondeadas.
Osseointegrated dental implants offer patients the ability to use aesthetic and functionally adequate prosthesis. The goal of therapy is to achieve prosthetic implant functional ankylosis between bone and implant, in order to achieve stability to mechanical stresses generated during loading prosthesis. In this review we highlight structural and biological aspects related to the tissues surrounding the implant. Redefined as osseointegration of the implant anchorage in the bone, capable to meet clinical requirements of operation as prosthetic pillar, occlusal forces transmitted directly to the bone. The loading of the implant should not interfere with the bone tissueimplant interface in order to prevent treatment failure with the respective formation of connective tissueimplant, which is called fibro-integration. The objective of this research is to describe and determine the clinical aspects of dental implants conical and cylindrical adaptation and uses partial edentes patients. Some designs permit the placement of implants in alveolar anatomy defects and extraction sockets. Experimental results and clinical evidence of a benefit for designs that smooth neck with tapered body with tapping apex, to a double or triple s turns and round profile threads.
