posterior serían: superficies uniformes, bien terminadas y
The design features ideal for posterior pontic would be: smooth surfaces, well finished and convex in all directions, without pressure histic contact was minimal, with the slope of the vestibular ponticocclusal platform functional harmony with the opposing dentition, mechanisms (contours) buccal and lingual branch of confluent with the neighboring teeth and the overall length equal to the vestibular surface of the pontic or supports neighbors. The characteristics of an ideal anterior pontic include: convex, uniform and convenient way to finish on all surfaces, non-pressure contact was minimal, with the buccal mucosa, emergence profile and length of ponticpontic in harmony with neighbors and support the teeth in order to best encourage the cosmetic outcome and confluent with the lingual contours pontic or neighboring teeth. The occlusion should also be evaluated before final cementation of the prosthesis to the rehabilitation of the edentulous space, and in particular the anterior superior region of the mouth, the overriding requirement is the aesthetic pontic design. Besides the design and materials used to manufacture dental pontic, the outline of how data is an important determinant of function, aesthetics and hygiene pontic.
