The treatment of deep bite can be unwieldy if we do a good diagnosis of the case and if monitoring is not appropriate. The influence of jaw growth in developing open bite or deep before, during and after orthodontic treatment have been subjected to numerous investigations for over 40 years. You tried to predict a number of diagnoses for abnormal rotation in the development and growth dentoesqueletal, especially in the jaw. The characteristics of these patients will have facial and occlusal events presented by vertical and sagittal discrepancies of the arcades. The deep bite predisposes the patient to periodontal disease, due to the overload of occlusal forces, excessive stress, trauma, functional problems that limit the lateral movements. Brachycephalic patients are generally prone to Class II, Division 2, concave profile, lower third and diminished vertical drop. In general, the deep bite is associated with an excessive eruption of the maxillary incisors.
